Empowering Skills Through Play

We provide learning games to support & grow children's Communication and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills.

Quick and easy to set up and play, we design and produce high-quality social skills games for mainstream and alternative provision settings.

They can be used by TAs as small group intervention activities to promote the practise and mastery of key SEL skills identified in Education Endowment Foundation SEL guidance.

Also suitable for use by therapists, day centres and other community groups that promote social interaction.

Playtime with Purpose

Children need repeated practise to build and strengthen any skill, and social communication is no different. Playing Little Spark Learning games on a regular basis empowers children to try, refine, and apply those skills in real interactions.

Every one of our games supports 2 or more of the 5 key Social Emotional Learning areas shown above.

Why Games Work

Play‑based approaches are widely recognised for helping children:

  • relax and open up

  • explore ideas safely

  • practise social skills in real time

  • learn through interaction rather than instruction

Our games use play to make meaningful conversations feel natural, fun, and accessible.

For the Educators Carrying So Much

You care deeply...

As a SENCO, Class teacher or Educator in another settings, you are trying to do the right thing for your children’s social and emotional needs, with nowhere near enough time, staff or resources to reach every child's needs. You are aware that SEMH needs and SEN are becoming more prominent.

You know relationships, regulation and communication are essential for children to feel safe and be able to learn. But your week is full of EHCP reviews, behaviour crises, staff support; just generally fire‑fighting.

But you often...

Wish you had a greater number of more structured, adaptable resources for social communication and relationship based interventions that you could give to TAs and ELSAs.

ELSAs and TAs are running interventions and supporting pupils every day. You rely on these staff to plan suitable activities based on their experience and training.

    And you’re left wondering...

How do I give my TAs simple, effective SEL activities that actually support and move pupils towards their targets – without adding to their workload or mine?

We're here to help you improve communication and emotional regulation, reduce playground fall outs, and support positive relationship building - all through playing games!
